Luigi Storchi

Tenor sax, clarinet,

voice, percussions.

Luigi was born in Reggio Emilia the 12th of july 1966, start to study music inside the Music School of RE “Achille Peri” and finish them in 1986 in clarinet with the teacher G. Tirincanti.

Start to play saxophone at the age of 16 years.

Luigi wons the competition of Stresa in the category of the wind quartet.

Plays soprano, alto and tenor saxophone and start to play flute few years ago. He also plays clarinet and he likes to play especially jazz music ; his idol was Michael Brecker, David Sanborn and Bob Berg.

He starti to have experience of band in the  jazz-fusion area with the Aletrnative Quartet since the start of the much famous band Bossa Nostra.

Ha also plays both live and studio with Ridillo, Jazz Art Orchestra, Nick the nightfly, Michael Allen, Funky Company, Jenny B and others.

Actually he plays the 1st alto saxophone with CB Band and He is the saxophone player of the band Bossa Nostra that has 3 album recorded : one EP then the famous SOlaria and Kharmalion.
